Annette Weisbach

Annette Weisbach is CNBC’s Germany correspondent and the channels dedicated ECB watcher since more than 15 years. In her role she has interviewed the majority of the German C-Suite such as Oliver Blume, Christian Sewing and Martin Brudermüller, leading politicians such as Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Finance Minister Lindner and last but not least many Central Bankers such as ECB President Christine Lagarde.
As a trained economist her job is to tell the German story for an international audience, be it economic or political developments. Before joining the media industry, she has served several years in investment banking and private equity.
