Manfred Knof

Dr Manfred Knof has been Chief Executive Officer of Commerzbank AG since 2021. Previously, he was responsible for the Private Bank Germany at Deutsche Bank AG. For more than 20 years, he also held various management positions at Allianz Group and at Dresdner Bank AG including his roles as Chairman of Managing Directors Allianz Suisse, CEO Central Eastern Europe (CEE) Allianz SE as well as CEO Allianz Deutschland AG.

Dr Manfred Knof holds a doctorate in law and has studied as a scholarship holder of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation at the universities of Cologne, Geneva, and Strasbourg. He also holds a Master of Business Administrations (MBA) from New York University, Leonard N. Stern School of Business and completed the Advanced Management Program 163 at Harvard Business School.
